  • Recommended Cover for a Forest River Rockwood 232ESP
  • I checked with Forest River and the listed box length of the Forest River Rockwood 232ESP is listed at 12' therefore, the Adco SFS AquaShed RV Cover for Pop Up Campers up to 14' Long part # 290-12293 would be a perfect fit. This cover has an integrated cinching system which can provide a tight fit, weighted buckles for an easy install, and comes with a two year warranty. We have found the 12' # 290-12292 to be slightly too short for your camper.

  • From what I can find your 2016 Forest River Georgetown 335DS sits on a Ford F53 20,500lb chassis. • Recommended Single Camera Observation System for Inside of a Trailer
  • There are cameras that are not motion activated that we have, but they aren't going to work in conjunction with the Furrion # FCE48TASL. For just a single camera inside your camper, I'd recommend checking out the Drive Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision # 324-000002. This camera system is not motion activated, can be wired to an always on power source for a constant feed, and includes a 7" LED monitor.

  • Troubleshooting Dimming Trailer Lights When Braking And Using The Turn Signal
  • Hi Doug, Based on the symptoms you're describing it just sounds like you're dealing with a lack of power. Everything works until you start putting too much of a load on the harness. Does your Suburban have a factory tow package/7-way or did you have to install one aftermarket? Older vehicles used to pull power from the vehicle tail lights to power the trailer lights and ended up drawing too much power and causing the lights to dim. In this kind of situation you can either replace the wiring...

  • Can The Leafs Of The Replacement Entry Door Hinge # LC198295 Be Rearranged
  • The Replacement Entry Door Hinge for RV # LC198295 isn't designed to allow for changes in the leaf order so you'll unfortunately need to fill in the old holes with some sealant and drill new holes to rivet the hinge in place. We also offer a controlled motion version of this hinge in black # LC95VR if you'd prefer matching the current color.

  • 15k BTU Rated AC Replacement Recommendation for 2004 Wildwood 30 BHHS Travel Trailer
  • Hey William, so the Advent Air AC unit part # ADV64FR would be a solid 15k BTU rated replaced for your setup. It is designed for ducted applications like you'd need as well. This also will wire right up to Advent and Dometic setups but if you have a Coleman kit currently you'd want the part # ACCOLKIT or the Carrier part # ACCARKIT to give you ability to have a plug and play wiring install.

  • Can The Curt True Course Be Mounted On A 5th Wheel Trailer
  • Hi Mike, The Curt True Course Advanced Bluetooth Trailer Sway Control # C94VV would still need to be mounted to the frame of the trailer just as it would be with a bumper-pull trailer. Neither Curt nor Lippert could tell me if the unit had to face a specific direction, just that it needs to be level on the frame to properly operate. Some 5th wheels have a beam between the frame rails at the front that sticks out enough from the body to mount to, otherwise you'll need to place it on the...

  • Lift Kit Fitment for a 2020 R-Pod 196
  • Hey Marty, thanks for reaching out! You'll likely be installing the Lippert 3-1/2" Axle Riser Kit # LC382741 on your 2020 R-Pod 196 but you'll need to confirm that your R-Pod is equipped with a square torsion axle rated for 3,500 lbs and bolt hole spacing at 7-7/8" on center. You can either verify which axle you have or send me a photo of the tag on in the middle of your axle so I can confirm which lift kit will work for your R-Pod.

  • Are There Any Issues With Going With Larger, Wider Wheels And Tires?
  • It certainly could be possible to go with a deeper 6" rim. The main factor we need to consider is the distance between the inside of the tire and the frame. A wider tire/wheel will sit closer to the frame on the inside, and we want to be sure there is no risk of anything touching or rubbing as the suspension moves. Our rule of thumb is that you want at least 1" between the tire and the frame. As far as wheel well clearance, our rule of thumb is at least 3", so with 4" of clearance currently,...

  • Can I Fit Tires With a Higher Load Capacity On My 2019 Forest River Wolf Pup 16BHS Travel Trailer?
  • I recommend looking at the ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire # TTWTRTM2157514D. This tire is going to be 1/2" wider and 1/2" taller and will mount on your current wheels. You will need to verify on your 2019 Forest River Wolf Pup 16BHS has the roof for the slightly larger tires. The tire carries a slightly higher maximum load rating at 2,200lbs per tire giving you 4,400lbs total weight capacity. This is going to be 900lbs over the 3,500lbs axle rating on your Wolf Pup. If you were to go much...

  • Recommended Replacement Power Inlet Solution for a 2012 Forest River WIldwood TT
  • Bob, I do have something you can work with, but all of our power inlets are 30 or 50 amps because that's what you'll find at an RV park. So, that being said, you're going to need swap your current inlet with a 30 amp inlet, and then use an adapter to hook up to a 15 amp outlet. For a 30 amp inlet I recommend checking out the Mighty Cord Replacement RV Power Inlet part # A10-30INVP, and then from here you can just use the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter part # A10-1530DBK so you can...

  • Can You Retrofit Hub to 3,500 lb Dexter Trailer Axle T3584F-8974
  • Appreciate that detailed info, and while it would be great if that was possible so you didn't have to get a new hub, there isn't a way to retrofit your old hub on the 3,500 lb Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with Standard Spindles # T3584F-8974. There isn't a kit for this type of application, and the bearings your old hub uses simply won't fit onto the spindle of this axle. So you will need a new hub that uses the bearings L68149 and L44649 such as the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3,500-lb...

  • Torsion Axle Lift Kit For a 2011 Forest River Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite 8244S 5TH Wheel Camper
  • You may be able to combine a torsion lift kit and larger tires and wheels to get you close to the 4" lift that you are looking for. Currently there is not a torsion lift kit that will raise your 2011 Forest River Rockwood 8244S that much. I've had a bit of a hard time figuring out exactly what axles are under your Rockwood. I do know that they are 3,500lb axles which narrows down the possibilities. You may have a Dexter #10 Torflex. You can determine if you have this by measuring the...

  • Installing A Voyager Camera System On A 2023 Forest River Wildwood X-Lite Travel Trailer
  • Hi Richard, Furrion and Voyager components unfortunately are not compatible with each other so you would have to remove the Furrion prewiring and switch to compatible wiring for your Voyager camera. You'll need to remove the Furrion shark fin mount and then pull the wire harness out from the wall to cut it from the factory wiring. If you bought a system that was meant for prewired trailers, like the # ASA37YR, then you can get the correct wire harness from the manufacturer, ASA Electronics.

  • Trailer Brakes Only Get Hot On One Side After Replacing Brake Magnet
  • It sounds like there is a problem with the actual internal components on the brake you replaced the magnet on. Since replacing the magnet got it working but it only gets warm it makes me think that the actuator lever is not able to fully engage the brake. While you can check the parts it may be best to replace the entire assembly.

  • Replacement Front Landing Gear Jacks For 2019 Forest River Vengance 320A With LCI Level Up Hydraulic
  • Currently we have no way to see what parts are installed on your 2019 Forest River Vengeance 320A 5th wheel Toyhauler. You may be able to get the information from Forest River with your VIN but we would need to know what Lippert parts you have to find the correct replacement parts. Since you did mention you have a leaking front jack these are typically the Lead # LC83ED or Follow # LC23ED legs if you have the a Level Up system set of jacks like the Jack # LC46ED you found.
